Cllr Gary Malcolm fights the rail cuts
Gary Malcolm, Lib Dem parliamentary spokesperson, took part with other residents to fight the rail cuts that will affect Acton Mainline as well as other local rail stations.
By recording the number of passengers using Acton Mainline station both before and after the timetable cuts (12th December), it can be shown there is a need for a good service at peak times at Acton Mainline station.
Cllr Gary Malcolm said: "First Great Western Link who run the trains are treating Acton rail users poorly. If we can show them and the Strategic Rail Authority that their decision was wrong they may reverse the cuts."
Gary Malcolm added: "It was worth getting up early in the morning with other residents in the area to do this. Thank you to those who have helped."
