Acton Liberal Democrats are saddened by the loss of the trees
Acton Liberal Democrats are saddened again by the failing Labour-run Council for not consulting the local community about the Acton High School redevelopment.
This has meant that a number of mature trees have been felled recently. In response the residents of the Mill Hill Park Conservation Area set up a new residents association.
The Acton Liberal Democrats are also concerned at the proposed loss of public access
to Heathfield Gardens, as well as the unannounced felling of mature trees to make way for the bulldozers.
Nick Winkfield said: "Acton Liberal Democrats welcome the new association. The felling of the trees is a tragic loss to the community."
