A number of politicians around the country have set up weblogs or blogs - effectively online diaries - as a way of communicating with their constituents and others. Lib Dem Ealing Common Cllr Jon Ball has now joined this number by starting his own blog.

Jon said, "While I've had a personal website since way back in 1998, I've just started my blog. As far as I know I'm one of just two current Ealing Councillors blogging out of 69. It's a great way for me to communicate directly with local residents and to help people to understand what goes on in local politics. Hopefully it will be a two-way process as anyone can comment on my blog entries."
