Liberal Democrat Andrew Steed has called on the Council to do more to protect Acton Green.

This includes:

ï'· A proper management of entry and exit to the Green when fun-fairs occur;

ï'· A better cleaning regime to reduce litter;

ï'· Cleaning up the fun-fair advertisements;

ï'· Solve the drainage problems now before they get worse.

This follows a long time where the Council has promised action to improve Acton Green but seems to have forgotten about the drainage issues that should be a priority.
