Ealing North covers Greenford, Perivale, and parts of Northolt, Hanwell (Hobbayne), West Ealing north of the Uxbridge Road and Pitshanger.
At the 2010 General Election, the parts of Hanger Hill and Ealing Broadway wards which are still in Ealing North will transfer to the new Ealing Central & Acton constituency. (See the separate pages for this constituency, which now covers all the east of the borough.) A small area will also transfer into Ealing North from Southall.
The area has eight wards, which each elect three councillors to sit on Ealing Borough council. These wards are: • Cleveland • Greenford Broadway • Greenford Green • Hobbayne • North Greenford • Northolt Mandeville • Northolt West End • Perivale.
The campaigning and running of Ealing North Liberal Democrats is done through the Executive Committee of the Borough party, who are elected by all members in Ealing each year. Three places for ordinary committee members are reserved for Ealing North.
Executive meetings are open to all members and you do not need to be elected to attend. You can also take part in the borough-wide policy discussions, or get involved in our other activities. If you have any questions, just contact us at any time. We'd love to hear from you!
The Borough Party Executive normally meets on second or third Monday of each month.

Brian Paddick, Lib Dem London mayoral candidate did a "walk-about" in Ealing Broadway on Saturday 7 April, accompanied by Mike Cox, candidate for Ealing and Hillingdon's London Assembly member.
Supported by a team of local members (see picture), this was part of a whistle-stop tour to listen to voters' concerns. High on the list of points raised by those he spoke to was the continued slow response of the authorities to victims of the riots.

Over 20 million working people will be better off next year after Liberal Democrats in the Coalition Government delivered the biggest ever increase in the income tax personal allowance in the Budget.
The massive £3.5bn tax cut for working people delivers:

Ealing Broadway station entrance is a serious hazard, and Turnham Green also poses significant risks to passengers. So says Liberal Democrat President Tim Farron MP, who visited the borough on Tuesday.
"I was shocked to see how bad it really is," said Mr Farron. "I knew some of the background, but until you see the actual situation it's impossible to appreciate the true extent of how serious, even dangerous, the position is."

At a recent meeting, members of Ealing Borough Liberal Democrats selected Francesco Fruzza and Nigel Bakhai as Prospective Parliamentary Candidates for Ealing North and Ealing Southall, respectively.
Speaking in response to his selection, Francesco said: "I was born, educated and have lived in Ealing all my life. I am honoured to be selected for the third time as the Liberal Democrat prospective parliamentary candidate to represent Ealing North. We have increased our vote at both the last two General Elections, and with the support of the local Liberal Democrat team working all year round every year, I am committed to represent the residents of Ealing North. Local people realize that the Liberal Democrats represent a genuine alternative to the Labour & Conservative parties. The Liberal Democrats will make a real difference at the General Election (whenever Gordon Brown decides to call it)."
