Charles Kennedy and Gary Malcolm launch pre-manifesto

Charles Kennedy joined Gary Malcolm to launch the Lib Dem pre-manifesto. Some of the highlights of the Liberal Democrat pre-manifesto are:

1. Increase in the Pension for those over 75

2. Get rid of Council Tax and replace with a fair local income tax scheme

3. An extra 10,000 police

4. Free eye and dental tests

5. An end to tuition fees to help students avoid debt while they are at university

Cllr Gary Malcolm said: "This is an exciting time where we have spent time to develop ideas that will help everyone in society. Our ideas are fully costed and so people trust us.
