Lib Dem Councillor Launches Public Investigation on Council CPZ Problems12.00.00am GMT Thu 3rd Nov 2005
Gary Malcolm, Lib Dem Transport spokesperson, has been concerned that there have been too many problems with Ealing Council's Control Parking Zones (CPZ) in Southfield as well as other parts of the borough. Gary wants to get feedback from residents in the area so that they can be fed back to Ealing Council who he hopes will make the improvements that are needed, given the large number of problems that residents of Southfield have suffered. Residents can contact Gary letting him know of your experiences and suggestions you have to improve matters via email at gary.malcolm@ealing.gov.uk or by writing to him at Cllr Gary Malcolm, Members' Room, Ealing Town Hall, New Broadway, Uxbridge Road, Ealing, W5 2BY. Cllr Gary Malcolm said: "People are annoyed that Ealing Council takes tax-payers' money and gives them a poor service. So many times I hear that they were given a ticket when they have a permit or when they contact the council they cannot get through because it is too busy." Gary added: "I want to hear from people with experiences of what went wrong and also suggestions of how things can be made easier. I will be following up on people's experiences and will try to get the council to make changes."
