Francesco Fruzza hands in petition against Heathrow expansion to No 10 Downing Street

Francesco Fruzza, Lib Dem Cleveland by-election candidate, handed in a petition against Heathrow expansion to 10 Downing Street last week. He was joined by Susan Kramer MP and local Lib Dem councillors.

Liberal Democrats have been active with groups like HACAN to campaign to get the Government to back down on expanding Heathrow even more.

Francesco Fruzza said: "Heathrow should not be allowed to expand because residents already suffer too much noise and air pollution. I want to see planes made so they use less fuel and cause less pollution."

Francesco added: "It is too noisy at the moment. Any expansion will lead to noisier nights."
