Nurses Deserve Better Say Residents

8.07.22pm BST (GMT +0100) Mon 16th Jul 2007

Local residents have praised local nurses in Nigel Bakhai's health survey. A massive 88% said that nurses deserve a better pay rise than the 2% offered by Labour.

"Doctors and nurses are the backbone of our NHS," said local resident Nigel Bakhai. "It is appalling the way that they have been treated by Labour.

"As a local resident I know how much residents rely on our nurses. That's why nurses need to be treated with respect and paid properly."

Overall, 69% of local people are unsatisfied with the government's handling of the NHS.
