Councillor Gary Malcolm wants the council to do more on recycling

Lib Dem councillor Gary Malcolm has pressed the Tory-run Ealing council to do more to improve recycling in the borough. Ealing recycles less than the average for London and many other Lib Dem councils.

Councillor Gary Malcolm said: "There are many properties especially flats that the council do not provide green bins for recycling. Residents also want to see plastics recycled now instead of waiting for another year."

Gary added: "Lib Dems give the environment high regard. Also it is rumoured that the Tories want to introduce a fortnightly collection system even though many residents are fearful of rats. It sad the Conservatives want to delay improvements. Only the Lib Dems will deliver on recycling."
