Simon Hughes MP with Jon Ball at the Auction

The Ealing Lib Dems this week held an auction where Lib Dem President Simon Hughes MP was the auctioneer.

Many gifts were auctioned raising lots of money, thanks to Simon Hughes and those donating gifts, including one member who volunteered to iron clothes for the winner.

Cllr Gary Malcolm who was present said: "It was a great night and many of us had lots of fun. Thank you to all those members who donated gifts. The large turnout of Lib Dem members shows that we have a great deal of supporters to help us in future elections."

Gary added: "The night showed that when a general election is called our prospective parliamentary candidate and long-time Ealing resident, Jon Ball, will have lots of help to get him elected."
