Acton Green News Update

After a recent fun-fair Acton Green was badly flooded due to the rain and poor drainage

1. Fun-fair update...

Liberal Democrat Councillors, Harvey Rose and Gary Malcolm, petitioned the Council regarding damage to the Green.

The Council has now pledged to:

 step up inspections to reduce damage by fun-fair vehicles

 improve the grounds maintenance and reduce drainage problems

We await to see whether the Council lives up to its word.

2. Acton Green Common works...

London Underground (LU) need to undertake drainage replacement works on Acton Green Common probably in the first week of July.

Both your Liberal Democrat councillors have told LU and the Council that residents need to be informed of the details and also any damage caused to the Common needs to be repaired with money going to improving Acton Green Common.
